These are just a few of the pictures Rod took while in Israel. He took a total of 2800 pictures!
The Dead Sea
The Upper Room where the Last Supper was shared.

The Pinnacle where Satan brought Christ to tempt him into honoring him by showing him the world.

A 2000 year old olive tree in the Garden of Gethsemane that still bears olives.

The Garden of Gethsemane where Christ and his disciples often went to rest and pray.

Standing in a church that resembled a teardrop (Christ cried over Jerusalem), Rod took this picture of the Dome of the Rock on Temple Mount. These are some of the homes in Jerusalem behind the dome.
These are the Eastern Gates (Golden Gates) where Christ will reenter Jerusalem upon His return. In front of the gates is the largest graveyard in the world dating back to the 1st century B.C.
Temple Mount
This is the Valley of Elah where David fought Goliath. Rod and I walked in the dry river bed where David found the smooth round stones for his slingshot that he killed Goliath with. We gathered stones for the g-kids.
This is the rock on which JC prepared dinner [fish] for the apostles.
Bell Caves - where limestone was quaried and where Christians hid from the Palestinians. We sang songs that echo'd in here and that sounded like angels singing....made me cry.
Abrahams well in Beersheba.
Wailing Wall-notice the prayers in the cracks in the wall. People would push thier prayer notes into the cracks in the wall.
Wailing wall on the male's side. Every 6 months a special person sweeps the wall clean placing all the prayer notes in a special bag that gets buried on the Mount of Olives. This was an unusally quiet time at the wall!
Rod coming out of King Hezikiah's flooded tunnel in the Kidron Valley.
Rod getting baptized in the Jordan River.
Here I am getting baptized too in the town of Yardent in the Jordan River.
In En Gedi, near these falls was the cave where David hid from King Saul. Saul came into the cave to "relieve himself" and David cut the corner of his robe off instead of killing him.
The town of Korazim (the city of Woe). The corner stone (the peak) Jesus spoke about in regards to holding everything together.
This is at the Chruch of the Holy Seplurcer where Jesus' body was taken down from the cross, cleaned and annointed with oil.
Dead Sea Scrolls found in this cave over the town of Jericho (Qumran) that validates what is written in scripture.
I'm standing on Mount Precipice just outside of Nazareth.
The Dead Sea at dusk.
