Memorial Weekend in TX 5-11

Dad had a few days off over the Memorial weekend and we decided to go and visit the Deno's. We also flew down to KC and picked up Robby for the long weekend. From Omaha to KC it was 1 hr and 15 minutes. Then from KC to Georgetown, TX it took us 5 1/2 hours [this included stopping in Oklahoma for gas and lunch].

Home schooling one morning on the patio

This is a playground in Georgetown, the next town over from Round Rock. What an awesome play house for kids to crawl around in.

Papa and I wanted a pic with all the kids and we really had a hard time sitting still long enough to take a good pic. So we started making goofy faces and momma kept clicking away.

One evening I decided it would be fun to teach the kids how to run a 3 legged race. It was sooo much fun and they did really well

Amy wanted to make home made pretzels. The kids had fun with the dough.

The pool is used almost everyday. The kids absolutely loved Uncle Rob, dad and papa getting in with them.

So as the guys were playing in the pool with the kids to cool off, momma was weeding her gardens

Visiting Ocala w/o Papa 4-11

We missed our Lusk g-kids so much and tried so hard to find dates to visit. Unfortunately, with ALL dad's travels, he couldn't find a date to visit soooooo I "had" to go alone. I still had the BEST time!! : }
Every night when Adam comes in, the first thing he has to do is greet the boys with a "toss" in the air. I don't think he realized just how high he threw them up!! They LOVE it and are so trusting : } Truman cruisin'

This little plane had made it through all the boys and is still humming. Tru is giving it a serious over-look!

Snuggling with the boys watching a special show that comes on at 5pm and Noey watches that clock. Can't remember the name of it but its 2 brothers who go on animal adventures. I'm sure you all know the show I'm referring too : }

One afternoon Noey and I decided to make Snikerdoodles. Such fun creating memories!

Off to the neighborhood pool. Tru loves it. Lynn laid him flat in a floating position. At first he resisted, then just calmly laid back and didn't move. We wondered if he was remembering how he use to float in utero??

Out to dinner at a great BBQ place in Ocala. Beautiful evening!

So Adam comes home one evening with a surprise! Someone gave him a canoe and he only had a little bit of work to do on it. The boys loved it and tried it out right there in the front yard. William had just gotten back from an eye doctor appt. and had to wear the dark sun glasses.

I had the honor of teaching the art class one morning. We used old egg cartons and used our imaginations creating "bugs" of some sort. Very good, boys!
